Druidry Option:
This is an extension of the Forest Shamanism Apprenticeship.

3:00- 5:00pm
Optional overnight camping included.

For students interested in studying Druidry, we will focus on deepening our connection with animals and the animal world.

Every indigenous culture has historic roots in shamanic practices. In our view, shamanic technique originates from within. The techniques we teach work with nature and the Collective Dream. They allow the student to connect with their own inner wisdom and develop personal ritual and grow deeper in their connection to the living Earth and develop deep connections with others of like intention.
We use creative activities as an act of reverence for the forest and expression of gratitude stemming from our personal encounters with the beings of the plant and animal worlds.
This alchemical healing path offers integration of Astrology, Herbology, Sound Therapy, Shamanic Journey, Druidry, Ritual, Creative Expression and Energetic Healing Modalities. Herbalism and deep connection with plants are an essential part of this process.
A Level I Reiki initiation is available at no additional charge to those who are interested.

Workshops feature time immersed in nature learning to communicate with plants through intuition, dreaming and the heart chakra.

Developing a relationship with the spirits of the forest through offerings of art, poetry and other creative expression.
Going deep within ourselves through shamanic drum journey to connect with our inner guides and receive first hand knowledge from deep sources within ourselves.
Living Classroom
This Class is held outdoors, on our 40 acre property. You'll need to dress for the weather. This class is entirely experiential. You will be required to keep a journal.

Required supplies:
Blank page journal, pencil, water, blanket, (lawn chair is acceptable if you have mobility issues, good shoes, long pants, lightweight cotton short or long sleeve shirt, sun hat, natural insect repellent, easy snacks.

Optional supplies:
(After the first class) Frame drum, flute, binoculars, portable art materials

Camping:
You are welcome and encouraged to camp following the class or by arrangement at other times. If there are other students camping remember this is a spiritual time. (If you want to come out and party, make arrangements for another time). You need to let us know at least 48 hours ahead of time. You’ll need your own supplies. A donation for firewood is appreciated.

Step 3: Meet Dogwood Forest & Staff, we recommend to come out during our open house times to see the property and see if it's a good fit for you.
